EACF Gives

Donations and fundraising initiatives are the lifeblood of Ely Area Community Foundation (EACF), allowing us to create and provide grants to local non-profits, operate the Ely Area Community Hub, provide low-cost rent to our non-profit community-minded tenants and deliver a wide range of services to community members.

Donations can be made by individuals, families, estates, charitable organizations, businesses, or through donor-advised funds.  Donations of appreciated stock are also welcome. 

Gifts can be earmarked for your favorite program at the HUB.  Programs include supporting our Grant Giving Program, keeping the HUB Community Room available for community efforts, helping us maintain affordable rents for our tenants (Functional Fitness, Happy Days Learning Center, Northwoods Partners and Wellbeing Development), or support for high quality childcare at Happy Days Learning Center.  

 All donations are tax deductible.  Our EIN is 06-1770182.

How Can You Help?

  • Make an outright donation of a cash gift, real estate, securities or personal property.
  • Donate via a deferred gift, which can include a bequest, life insurance and trusts with charitable provisions.
  • Donate a special purpose gift that may include a memorial in honor of a deceased person, a gift to honor a living person or a gift to commemorate a special occasion.
  • Use your time and talent to volunteer for projects with the EACF.
