The Ely Area Community Hub brings together individuals, families, non-profit organizations, resources and available space to help cultivate meaningful relationships and drive collective impact.

The Hub provides tenant space to a range of different non-profit organizations at low-cost so they have a welcoming, community-centered and affordable place to operate and welcome visitors. This also ensures community members have easy and direct access to a variety of valuable non-profit services.

Well Being Development

Well Being Development (WBD) is a trusted community-based nonprofit agency that was formed in 2010 by engaged Ely community members wanting to make a difference for their friends, neighbors, and family; dreaming about a time where all people are able to live their best lives. WBD provides behavioral health education and resources to the Ely community through our programs; Northern Lights Clubhouse, Pathways to Wellness Care Facilitators, and our Recovery Residence.

Functional Fitness

Functional Fitness is a 24hr access gym that focuses on injury prevention and healthy body maintenance as we age. Functionally driven, we believe in movement exercise. We also an abundance of spin, fitness and yoga classes for all abilities. In house physical trainer, sports massage therapist, nutritionist, personal trainers and cupping therapist.

Northwoods Partners

With their team and strong volunteer base, Northwoods Partners provides resources and a variety of services that promote independence and healthy aging to our area older adults and their caregivers. Some of the services offered currently include friendly visits, transportation, exercise programs, Tasty Tuesday, caregiver consulting, and support groups. With the move to our new space at the Ely Area Community Hub, the plan is to expand services even more!

Happy Days Learning Center

Happy Days Learning Center is a 4-star Parent Aware rated childcare center providing care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We offer high quality education and enrichment with a focus on play and exploration. Happy Days has been part of the Ely community for over 50 years and continues to grow to meet the needs of our children and families.
